With such a central location we are only a short drive from the Railway Station, Dunedin Hospital, Otago University, Olveston, Cadbury's chocolate factory and Speights Brewery Tour. Carisbrook and Edgar Sports Stadium are also handy for the sports-minded, while Baldwin Street, the world's steepest street, is just up the road.

The Peninsula is a 45-minute drive to see the albatross colony, yellow-eyed and blue penguins together with a wealth of other wildlife. Larnach Castle can also be included in your tour as this is on the return trip from the peninsula via the high road with all the spectacular views. The Airport is approximately a 35-minute drive from the motel via the southern motorway.
